Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Metadata for .NET 24.12 (DLLs-only) enhances metadata capabilities for .msg files, ensures read-only consistency for .mpeg formats, and adds refined API fields for email metadata handling.

New Feature

  • Improved .msg Metadata Handling: Expanded support for editable properties like SenderName, SenderEmailAddress, Body, and Categories; deprecated the old Sender property.
  • Accurate .mpeg Access Level: Corrected property access for .mpeg files to reflect true read-only status.

Enhancement

  • Performance Cache Tuning: Continues to support cache configuration for optimizing performance.

Fix

  • This release did not include specific bug fixes.

API Changes

  • Removed: Sender field.
  • Added: SenderName, SenderEmailAddress, Body, and Categories properties to .msg format API.
