Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Search for .NET 24.9 improves usability with direct access to indexed documents via document key, timestamp retrieval, and simplified network configuration.

New Features

  • Indexed Document Retrieval by Key:
    Retrieve document info directly from the index using a unique document key with the new GetIndexedDocument(string) method.

  • Document Modification Timestamp:
    Each document now includes a ModificationTime property, making it easier to track updates within an index.

Enhancement

  • Search Network Setup Simplification:
    Refactored node configuration API for clarity and robustness. Adds CreateMasterNode, CreateSlaveNode, and separates configurators for master and slave nodes.

Breaking Changes

  • Deprecated older NodeConfigurator methods and constructors.
  • Introduced MasterNodeConfigurator and SlaveNodeConfigurator for clearer node role definitions.
