Description

This ZIP package contains cross-platform version of GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.10. This package can be used on Windows, Linux, and macOS. Please check readme.txt file for list of dependencies that should be installed manually.

GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.10 Cross-platform DLLs release delivers a reengineered archive module for structured file display, new UI features for user control, and robust fixes for layout, localization, and navigation.

New Feature

  • Cross-Platform Archive Engine: Replaced legacy archive module with a new tree-view-based system, offering faster loading, structure accuracy, and extended file metadata.
  • PDF Print Delivery: UI now sends original PDFs directly to the browser when using the Print feature.
  • Link Click Suppression: Viewers can now disable hyperlink interactions to avoid misclicks in embedded documents.

Enhancement

  • Auto-Render Comments: Enabled comment rendering by default for increased document context and usability.

Fix

  • HTML Watermark Placement: Fixed watermark layering above content when converting PDF using WrapImagesInSvg.
  • Search Support for Turkish: Resolved issue preventing successful search of Turkish characters.
  • Excel Multiple Sheet Crash: Fixed UI freeze on multi-sheet Excel navigation across platforms.

API Changes

  • New RemoveComments Boolean: Replaces the older RenderComments and reverses its logic for better consistency.
  • Obsolete ItemsPerPage Notice: Deprecated and ignored in the new archive system.
