Description

This ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.10 assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. Download this if you want to use GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET without the MSI installer. This ZIP download does not contain the demo projects.

Release Highlights

The DLLs-only package of GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.10 provides a performance-driven archive browser, new UI-level control for links and printing, and bug fixes across PDF, Excel, and search functionality.

New Feature

  • Hierarchical Archive Navigation: Fully replaced archive engine now offers folder/file tree structure, metadata display, and much faster loading speeds.
  • Direct PDF Print Support: UI upgraded to send the original PDF file to the browser when Print is clicked.
  • Clickable Link Toggle: Added feature to disable link interaction within the viewer UI.

Enhancement

  • Enable Comments by Default: Comments now appear by default in rendered documents for better user feedback and QA visibility.

Fix

  • HTML Watermark Overlay Fix: Resolved issue where watermark would incorrectly overlay the top of HTML when using WrapImagesInSvg.
  • Turkish Search Compatibility: Fixed failure to search Turkish characters via the viewer’s search bar.
  • Excel Sheet Load Fix: Resolved infinite loading when navigating large multi-sheet Excel files.

API Changes

  • RemoveComments Added: Introduced to BaseViewOptions as a modern replacement for the deprecated RenderComments property.
  • Deprecated ItemsPerPage: No longer applicable due to the new archive engine.
