Description

This ZIP package contains cross-platform version of GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.12. This package can be used on Windows, Linux, and macOS. Please check readme.txt file for list of dependencies that should be installed manually.

Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.12 Cross-platform DLLs-only version enables OFD rendering, Angular UI overhaul, new export control for Word fields, and vital fixes for EPS, Excel, and Presentation files.

New Feature

  • Cross-Platform OFD Viewing: Render OFD files natively with improved layout fidelity; requires SimSun font on Linux.
  • Toggle Word Field Updates: UpdateFields option now allows disabling field recalculations during export.
  • Email Address Display: Complete sender/recipient details now visible in email file rendering.
  • Modern Angular UI Integration: Angular SPA interface with customizable rendering options, toolbar elements, and Static Content Mode.

Enhancement

  • Flexible UI Configuration: Cross-platform support for rendering mode toggles, preload behavior, language selection, and interface controls.

Fix

  • DOCX Property Label Fix: Unknown property names now resolved during HTML conversion.
  • Notes-Based Slide Size: Slide dimensions corrected relative to notes content.
  • EPS File Load Fix: Eliminated “file corrupted” exceptions in EPS files.
  • XLS Exception Messaging: Clear errors added for older, unsupported Excel file formats.
  • Large PPTX Search Issue: Fixed UI hanging during searches on large PPTX files.
  • Zoom UI Styling Fix: Addressed blue background issue on zoom buttons for image formats.
  • Zoom Rendering Bug: Prevented blank pages from appearing after zooming actions.
  • Excel UI Zoom: Re-enabled zoom functions for Excel files in the viewer.
  • Presentation Button Glitch: Repaired non-functioning Presentation button in UI.

API Changes

  • New UpdateFields Property in WordProcessingOptions for field behavior.
  • OFD Format now officially supported in the FileType class.
