Description

This ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.12 assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. Download this if you want to use GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET without the MSI installer. This ZIP download does not contain the demo projects.

Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.12 DLLs-only release offers native OFD format support, a fully modernized Angular UI, field update control for Word files, and extensive fixes for UI and format rendering.

New Feature

  • Native OFD Format Viewing: OFD documents now supported with accurate fixed-layout rendering (SimSun font required).
  • Disable Word Field Updates: New UpdateFields property allows disabling field updates during Word doc export.
  • Email Display Enhancements: Full email addresses are now shown when viewing message files.
  • Next-Gen Angular UI: Performance-focused Angular SPA now powers the viewer with control toggles, rendering modes, and Static Content Mode support.

  • Advanced UI Configuration: Toggle rendering modes, preload pages, toolbar visibility, and localization settings using the new Config class.

Fix

  • DOCX Property Issue: Corrected unknown document property labels in HTML output.
  • Slide Size Consistency: Slides are now sized correctly relative to notes.
  • EPS Rendering Crash: Eliminated file corruption issue in specific EPS documents.
  • XLS Legacy Exception: Added readable exception handling for outdated XLS formats.
  • Large PPTX Search Lag: Fixed performance stall when searching in large PPTX files.
  • Toolbar Zoom UI Glitch: Resolved inconsistent styling for zoom buttons in image viewer.
  • Zoom-Blank Page Bug: Removed unintended blank page appearance during zoom events.
  • Excel Zoom UI Repair: Reinstated zoom functionality in Excel viewer interface.
  • Presentation Button Fix: Restored working state of UI’s Presentation button.

API Changes

  • UpdateFields in WordProcessingOptions: Controls auto-updates to Word fields.
  • OFD Type in FileType: New OFD format added to supported file types list.
