Description

This ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.8 assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. Download this if you want to use GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET without the MSI installer. This ZIP download does not contain the demo projects.

Release Highlights

The DLLs-only edition of GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 24.8 ships with advanced XML file viewing features, smoother spreadsheet and contact file processing, and color handling improvements.

New Feature

  • XML Rendering Engine: Introduced own XML-to-HTML converter with smart syntax formatting, pagination, hyperlink detection, and resilience against broken XML structures.

Enhancement

  • TSV/CSV Output Quality: Enhanced rendering engine for better layout preservation in tabular data files.
  • ARGB Color Parsing: Implemented accurate ARGB color transformation for rendering consistency.
  • Stream File Type Display: Resolved issue where ZST file types showed as “Unknown” during stream-based viewing.

Fix

  • Spreadsheet Cutoff Fix: Prevented XLS spreadsheet content from being truncated in PNG export.
  • VCF Rendering Issue: Resolved null byte error when loading VCF contact cards.
  • DLL Compilation Fix: Addressed failure to compile due to missing encoding codepages assembly.
  • Watermark Error Fix: Corrected evaluation watermark bug affecting valid redistributable licenses.
  • Excel Image Display: Fixed missing image issue in Excel document rendering.
  • Excel Eval Error Fix: Eliminated errors in rendering Excel documents with redistributable licenses.
