Description

This ZIP package contains cross-platform version of GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 25.1. This package can be used on Windows, Linux, and macOS. Please check readme.txt file for list of dependencies that should be installed manually.

Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 25.1 Cross-platform DLLs-only package adds native support for LHA archives, improved control over Word-to-HTML output, and better handling of embedded fonts and SVG image content.

New Feature

  • LHA Archive Viewing: Added ability to detect and process .LHA/.LZH archive files in cross-platform environments.
  • Suppress HTML JavaScript Output: Exclude JavaScript when saving Word documents as HTML using the new RemoveJavaScript setting.

Enhancement

  • Safe HTML Export: Disables JavaScript generation by default when exporting DOCX files to fixed HTML layouts.
  • Cleaner HTML/CSS: Removes unnecessary style attributes and empty CSS rules during HTML generation.
  • SVG Validation Update: More robust dimension extraction and rendering of SVG images across all platforms.

Fix

  • Embedded Font Parsing Fix: Resolved font fallback issues involving Menlo-Regular, ensuring better cross-platform font rendering.

API Changes

  • Added RemoveJavaScript Property: Allows disabling script output from Word docs.
  • New Lha FileType Entry: Supports LHA/LZH archive detection.
