Description

This ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 25.1 assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. Download this if you want to use GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET without the MSI installer. This ZIP download does not contain the demo projects.

Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 25.1 DLLs-only package introduces LHA archive support, new HTML export controls for Word documents, and refinements in SVG rendering and HTML output structure.

New Feature

  • LHA File Format Support: Viewer now supports the LHA and LZH archive formats for archive browsing and extraction.
  • Disable JavaScript in HTML: New public API allows developers to disable JavaScript output in HTML generated from Word documents.

Enhancement

  • Secure Fixed-HTML Rendering: By default, JavaScript will not be generated when saving DOCX files to HTML to improve security and maintain clean output.
  • CSS Optimization: HTML output now skips empty CSS attributes and styles, reducing clutter in the exported HTML.
  • SVG Rendering Accuracy: Improved dimension extraction and structural validation for SVG files.

Fix

  • Menlo Font Fallback: Fixed parsing issues with the Menlo-Regular font and improved system fallback resolution.

API Changes

  • RemoveJavaScript Boolean Added: Available under Options.WordProcessingOptions to control JavaScript output.
  • Lha Format Added: Included in FileType for archive detection.
