Description

This ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 25.3 assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. Download this if you want to use GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET without the MSI installer. This ZIP download does not contain the demo projects.

Release Highlights

The DLLs-only release of GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET 25.3 enhances archive viewing capabilities, adds a powerful font analysis API, and brings usability improvements to the UI.

New Feature

  • Support for WIM Archives: View content from Windows Imaging Format (.WIM) archive files.
  • Inner Archive Rendering: Documents within nested archive files can now be rendered seamlessly.
  • List Used Fonts via API: New GetAllFonts() method lets developers retrieve all fonts used in an input document.
  • New Font Info Type: Added UsedFontInfo for exposing font details programmatically.
  • Custom Errors in UI: Viewer UI now supports showing developer-defined error messages.
  • Fit-to-Screen Mode: Auto-scale documents to fit screen width in UI.

Enhancement

  • XML Format Detection: Improved accuracy of file validation for XML documents prior to rendering.

Fix

  • Archive Entry Listing Order: Fixed misordered entries and display glitches in archive viewer.
  • PPTX Page UI Error: Resolved incorrect page numbers in PowerPoint rendering within the viewer.
  • Excel/PPT UI Bug Fixes: Addressed general rendering glitches in Excel and PowerPoint files.
  • UI Scroll & Print Fixes: Solved scrolling delays and print issues when loading large files in UI.

API Changes

  • New API Method: Viewer.GetAllFonts() provides font metadata.
  • New Class: UsedFontInfo supports font reporting.
  • WIM Format: Added as new field in FileType.
