This ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Watermark for .NET assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. Download this if you want to use GroupDocs.Watermark for .NET without the MSI installer. This ZIP download does not contain the demo projects.

Release Highlights

GroupDocs.Watermark for .NET 24.9 DLLs-only brings a powerful enhancement to watermarking by enabling users to store watermark details inside image file metadata.

New Feature

  • Store Watermark Info in Metadata:
    Activate SaveResultInMetadata = true to embed watermark properties (text, alignment, location) into the metadata of raster image formats such as JPEG or PNG.

    Benefits:

    • Persistent watermark audit trail
    • Metadata-level tracking of applied edits
    • Useful for compliance, legal, and archival use cases

API Changes

  • New public property:
    • Watermarker.SaveResultInMetadata (boolean) – controls whether watermark information is stored in the image’s metadata.
